Steer Ready: FARMNAVIGATOR communicates directly with the tractor
Starting with the upcoming version 5.3.0R, FARMNAVIGATOR G12 opens up a new opportunity for CNH tractors already prepared for automatic steering.
What Steer Ready Means
Many recent tractors leave the factory already Steer Ready. This means the machine already includes the infrastructure required to electronically control steering: electro-hydraulic valve, sensors and CAN communication are integrated into the tractor.
Within the CNH group, this factory preparation is known by different names: IntelliSteer Ready on New Holland tractors, AccuGuide Ready on Case IH tractors, and Guidance Ready / S-Guide on STEYR tractors. New Holland T7, Case IH Puma and Optum, as well as several STEYR models, are examples of tractor families where this configuration may be available.
The new FARMNAVIGATOR feature can now take advantage of this existing factory preparation.
How It Works
With G12 Panorama + All In One RTK, the autosteering system communicates with the tractor through the dedicated steering CAN port, using the electro-hydraulic steering system already installed on the machine. This means there is no need to add an electric steering wheel motor: the autosteering controller integrated into the All In One RTK directly controls the tractor’s Steer Ready system.
How can you tell if the tractor is compatible?
For the dealer, the first check is simple: verify whether the tractor configuration includes an original factory preparation for integrated autosteering, such as IntelliSteer Ready, AccuGuide Ready or Guidance Ready.
The presence of ISOBUS alone does not mean that the tractor is Steer Ready. If there is any doubt, the original equipment specification or tractor serial number can be checked with the CNH dealer to confirm the steering preparation.
One Display, One Smart Antenna
The result is particularly interesting because G12 becomes the central operating display in the cab: RTK autosteering and, at the same time, implement management through ISOBUS Virtual Terminal and Task Controller.

Important: this new CAN Steer Ready control mode is available on G12 Panorama and is not compatible with the G7 serie
